MSM (methylsulphonylmethane) is a flexible bond between proteins found in hair, skin, joints, tendons and cartilage. A naturally occurring source of sulphur (34% by weight), it is one of the major building blocks of glycosaminoglycans (CAGs), which are key structural components in cartilage.
MSM is an organic form of sulphur that can be found in green vegetables such as alfalfa, beets and cabbage. Anecdotally, it has been shown to reduce pain amongst sufferers of arthritis, thought to exhibit an anti-inflammatory effect. It may also support antioxidant function.
Reflex® MSM is ideal for daily use, especially in highly active individuals.
